I’m beginning this post with a shot of my first whale encounter for the 2014 season. This was taken Jan. 9th, just ten days before my prostate problems really started. I have it here because I haven’t been able to post any other whale pictures for a month. I was anticipating a dynamite year but have not been out since due to the surgery.

I won’t go into the details but it was a Transurethral Resection of the Prostate. Nothing major but I haven’t been in a hospital setting since I was nine years old so the whole thing was a bit over whelming. For those of you who may at some time need to consider this or another type of procedure, I highly recommend investigating the Mexican alternative to the high cost US procedure. I simply could not have afforded to have it done in The States regardless of Medicare – not even close! If you would like figures, e-mail me and compare.

Anyway that is now behind me – I’ve been home for three days and can feel Shangri-La healing me by the hour. I was gone for almost a month. During that month I had three sets of “care givers” take me into their homes, feed me, run me to the clinic, watch over me and give me lots and lots of love. To Christina/Chris in Los Barriles, Ursula/Felipe in Cabo San Lucas and Christine/Conrad in San Jose del Cabo my deepest thanks – I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!

I am cleared by the doctor to go out looking for whales in early March so plenty of time for more ID’s. Word is that this season will be one of the best ever. Large numbers of humpbacks, grays and blues started showing up off our Pacific Coast a good month ago and people are seeing them daily here. Also lots of Orcas that I hope will come around the cape and say hello.

Here are my two first ID’s for the season. Both are new whales to my family which has now grown beyond 250 individuals.

                                     HB# 1 14

                                      HB# 2 14

Both of these whales have been adopted by donors from last season

I was able to swim with them for a bit as the day was perfect and they were very tranquil. Ishmael dropped me in a perfect spot and they cruised by just 20’ away – MAGNIFICENT!

Here’s some cool science stuff to peruse:

How about this?

“Quantum physics may have just proven that there is an afterlife. Scientist Robert Lanza claims that the theory of biocentrism teaches that death as we know it is an illusion created by our consciousness.”

And this?
Scientists have discovered a second code hiding within DNA. This second code contains information that changes how scientists read the instructions contained in DNA and interpret mutations to make sense of health and disease.

A couple more – I love science:

If you haven’t done any Lucid dreaming but are ready to venture into a WHOLE new aspect of your consciousness check this out. I have only been able to do it myself about four times but oh man, what a treat!! No tricks, no drugs, no hypnosis – just your own inner world spot lighted and free to roam in.

A whole new take on memory - it's chemical basis and storage.

Ok – just three more: No obligation to read all these!!

We live in such an incredibly richer, broader and more exciting reality than we have limited ourselves to seeing that it is astounding. But fear not, the voice of science may at times be stifled by antiquated concepts and base ignorance but the mind of science is impossible to silence.

Talk about a "rabbit hole"!

What our bodies REALLY are:

"It's all just chemistry". Often heard uttered by me in biology class.

And finally this:

New research from Emory University School of Medicine, in Atlanta, has shown that it is possible for some information to be inherited biologically through chemical changes that occur in DNA.

Here’s a shot of the “front room” of my home. Each year I change most all the pictures on the walls of the trailer. Some remain always. This group above the sofa are residents. Note the wonderful painting by Nantzy Hensley that she so kindly contributed to my space.

Thank you all for your many kindnesses during my recent medical challenge. I am now shunting the same energy to my dear friend Alan so he can begin to heal.
